“In the cellar, a place of peace and silence, respect and patience,

knowledge is combined with modern techniques,

experience and innovation are mixed,

consolidating the marriage between what mother earth offers

what the skillful hand of man materializes.”

The current cellar was built in the early 2000s, following the transformation carried out by Franco Pacenti from a multi-purpose company to an internationally recognized company specialized in viticulture. Today the heart of the company, the new cellar, designed on a single level minimizing the environmental impact within the Unesco site of the Val d’Orcia, converses between past and present, welcoming all stages of production in a functional way.

The cellar ends with that noble and long path that comes from the vineyard, with a natural transformation of the grapes without forcing, and a strictly traditional vinification with prolonged maceration on the skins and long refinements in medium-large oak barrels.

Here, where tradition and technology merge, the wines find the ideal conditions to mature in their very best, enhancing the Sangiovese, terroir and the peculiarities of each vintage.

The historical memory of the company is the small underground cellar built in the ’60s by the grandfather Rosildo, the family’s forefather, in the original nucleus of the old farmhouse. An evocative environment with optimal characteristics of temperature and humidity, it remains today a place of pride and awareness of the roots that link the Pacenti Family to this land.
