Franco Pacenti and his wines’ spring events calendar is scheduled: it starts with Vinitaly and arrives up to Cantine Aperte. Here they are:
Spring has come, and with it a full calendar of events that will see the Montalcino winery and its wines as protagonists. The Spring events will take the Franco Pacenti winery, initially to Vinitaly, but then all around Italy and finally at home, with many initiatives especially designed for wine-tourists. In between, there will also be a trip abroad at Prowein 2022.
Franco Pacenti at Vinitaly: the countdown has started
The most awaited spring events at Franco Pacenti is Vinitaly 2022. The Veronese fair, which has been missing for two years now, is always a moment of great enthusiasm. “Finally we are back to experience wine events in presence after this long stop – the winery told us – We missed it so much, we can’t wait!”.
From April 10th to 13th, Franco Pacenti will be among the Tuscan wineries present at Vinitaly 2022 and it will bring with it some exceptional guests. “We will present our new vintages, they are all different from each other, but still special. It will be the occasion to taste at Vinitaly 2022 the Brunello di Montalcino 2017, the Riserva 2016 and the Rosso 2019. Inevitable also our cru Brunello “Rosildo” 2016, the label dedicated to grandfather Rosildo. This particular label was born with the 2015 vintage. We look forward to seeing you at Hall 9 Tuscany, Area B5 Stand 15″.
Events between April and May 2022, one in Italy and one in Europe
Immediately after Vinitaly, spring events for Franco Pacenti continue with Only Wine Festival2022 in Città di Castello. The fair is dedicated to the best Italian small wineries under 40, selected by a commission of experts. The event will take place from April 30th to May 2nd and it has scheduled days dedicated to operators and others to wine-lovers.

Not even time to pack the bags and they fly to Prowein 2022, from May 15th to 17th.
Among the Italian wineries present at Prowein 2022, Franco Pacenti will bring up the name of Montalcino and its wines. The background will be the German city of Düsseldorf, location, since many years, of one of the most awaited wine events at international level.
Events for wine tourists start again at Montalcino in Cantina
Spring and good weather also coincide with the resumption of wine tourism events in the winery. “Wine Experiences, tastings in the winery and many events in the open air will finally come back – the winery explains us – For those who want to try a winery visit in Montalcino that is a little bit different, we offer our picnics in the olive grove with local products, as well as trekking in the vineyards and tastings at sunset or under the stars. Then there are the classic tastings of Brunello di Montalcino and other wines of the winery in the panoramic terrace overlooking the Val d’Orcia. This is really something to be experienced, in order to really know what it means for us to make wine and where it is born”.
You can choose to book your own guided tasting or take part to one of the many spring events dedicated to wine tourists in Montalcino in which Franco Pacenti will take part.
Among these events there are the ones organized by Movimento Turismo del Vino, of which the winery has been a member for some years. From May 28th to 29th, 2022, do not miss the appointment with Cantine Aperte 2022 and for those who are already thinking of the summer, here are some scheduled events:
