“Our olive oil is the result of a careful selection of olives harvested at the right degree of ripeness – explains Franco Pacenti. Good quality while we have collected less olives than in the past as the result to a climate not really favorable. The low temperatures, which at the end of February were lower more than -9 degrees, have in fact compromised the foliage of the plants and hindered the normal growth of the olives. The 2018 will therefore be an even more precious green gold! “.
In the small olive grove of only one hectare, at 320 meters on the sea level, the three varieties of typical Tuscan cultivars: Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo are cultivated. The characteristics of the fruit, the correct harvesting procedures and the milling are decisive factors for the final quality of the product. From the first cold pressing you get the ingredient at the base of the Mediterranean diet, an intense, fruity and spicy evo oil, ready to cheer the autumn evenings with an excellent bruschetta and a good glass of Rosso di Montalcino by Franco Pacenti– Canalicchio.
This year, with a new look, after the brand restyling, the olive oil is available in 500ml bottles or 3 and 5 liter cans.
