Tasting Notes:“Buona la prestazione dei vini, con il Brunello di Montalcino Riserva ‘04 che sfiora il massimo riconoscimento. Rubino di media intensità ha naso classico, con note evolutive di tabacco e cuoio, ad ampliare la vena fruttata, con la visciola e la mora. In bocca il vino è leggermente penalizzato dal tannino ancora impetuoso, che probabilmente permetterà una buona longevità. Il finale è persistente, di buona corrispondenza olfattiva.”

The richness of the fruit matches the wine’s muscle pound for pound, while the finish is utterly convincing in its power and richness. This is a wonderful effort from Franco Pacenti. Unfortunately I was not able to taste the regular bottling of the 2005 Brunello. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2024.”

Tasting Notes:„Dunkles, sattes Rubingranat. Dicht angelegt, mit ausgeprägten noten nach reifen Brombeeren, unterlegt mit getrockneten Pilzen. Überaus saftig, zeigt schöne feife Fruchtnoten, entfalte sich kompakt, baut sich mit griffigem Tannin auf, mineralische Noten, rund und ausgewogen.“
