Tasting Notes:“The Franco Pacenti 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva has a sweet note, like candied cherry or dried apricot, that is immediately noticeable. That very bright high tone comes down a notch with time, and in doing so, the wine reveals pressed flowers and dark earth or clay. The finish is smooth, imparting a good balance of tannic power and freshness to guide the wine over a long finish. Only 1,000 bottles were made.”
