Tasting Notes:“This wine is not marked Riserva; however, it is released a year after the Brunello annata. The Franco Pacenti 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Rosildo (with a mere 1,000 bottles made) sees its fruit sourced from the Vigna della Creta parcel with a bigger presence of clay in the soils. This is a lovely expression with a very pure and bright sweetness that comes forth as summer ripe cherry and dark plum. The wine is firm at the back with tight tannic grip and strong acidity. Both these elements, plus the oak influences, will aid the wine as it continues its aging trajectory.”
